Maximum Ride: one of my favorite series. It has a whole bunch of action and stuff that made have to muffle my laughs when i was at school/work. Max is a fourteen yr old girl who lives with her flock. She's 98% human and 2% avian bird. So she and her flock--Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Nudge, and Angel--have wings. But they are constantly chased by Erasers--half wolf half human--who are dead set on cathing them and killing or bringing them back to the School. The School is where they were created and its where death comes as a blessing. Once I started this series i couldn't put any of them down. The movie is coming out in about two yrs but i can wait--if i hav to!! :)
